It is the mission of Exeter Responds to provide our community with hope…
Hope for a violence free future of the youth of our community through mentorship and guidance
Hope for a future free from gangs, criminal activities and violence through community involvement
Hope for a future of self-worth and pride for our youth through mentoring and guidance
Hope for the Exeter of tomorrow.
For those who are unfamiliar with Exeter Responds, the organization is a grass roots coalition of public agencies, non-profit organizations and churches who originally came together following one of the Tulare County’s gang prevention Step Up Youth Summits at Exeter Union High School in 2009. The coalition includes the Exeter Police Department, Courage To Change boys home, California Cadet Corps 3rd Brigade, Exeter Public Schools, Tulare County Board of Supervisors, countywide law enforcement, faith based organizations and local businesses.
