There’s A Whole Lot Going on In Exeter

Yes, we’re a small town and we’re proud of it, but that doesn’t mean that there’s nothing going on.

From January through December, there are annual events being held and even more being planned. So, stay up to date by checking our calendar on a regular basis. Here’s just a gander at all of the annual events:

March

Exeter Chamber of Commerce Awards Banquet celebrates the accomplishments of 2021. Man & Woman of the Year, Heritage Award, Business of the Year, and Non-Profit of the Year will be named at this years event on March 26.
Rocky Hill, located in Exeter, California, has been a mecca for athletes of all levels and abilities for decades. The 6th annual Rocky Hill Triathlon is an event created to showcase what draws people from near and far to the foothills of the Sierra Nevadas. Our fun and challenging course will help push you to new limits. Whether you are a new comer to the sport of triathlon, or a seasoned veteran, you will enjoy this race. We will be offering two different distances on race day. A sprint distance and an olympic distance, both of which are USAT sanctioned. October

Exeter Fall Festival provides fun and excitement for the entire family with live entertainment, food, crafts, parade, carnival, and much more. The morning starts with a 5k run, 2 mile prediction walk, horseshoe tournament and a car show. The event is held in October. Dates have not yet been set.
Scarecrow Contest
Starting October 1 through October 31, the streets of Exeter are filled with Scarecrows as businesses and organizations compete to create the best scarecrow contest displays.

December

Starting the first Thursday after Thanksgiving through Christmas downtown Exeter is decked out to celebrate the holiday season. Caroling, contests, raffles and more are featured. The Chamber holds a contest for the best window decorations.
