Kaweah Oaks Preserve – a remnant example of the valley oak woodland that once grew on the floor of the central valley. This preserve shelters a portion of the central valley’s unique and endangered valley oak ecosystem. Visitors can walk along nature trails in a forest of century old oaks, sycamores, cottonwoods, ash trees & other flora which provide habitats for animals and more than 125 species of birds native to the area. Located 3 miles northeast of Exeter on Road 182 north of Highway 198.
