Fall Festival brings people to town for a week of Exeter traditions, family activities, and time with friends and neighbors. Save the dates for 2027, with Saturday’s celebration bringing everyone together for the parade, pancake breakfast, vendor booths, and more.

Miss Exeter Coronation Dinner
Gather for dinner and get to know the Miss Exeter court through speaking presentations and a fun fashion segment. Share in the excitement as the first runner-up is announced and the outgoing Miss Exeter passes the crown to her successor. Raffle and 50/50 winner announcements give guests something else to look forward to during an evening celebrating this Exeter tradition.
Tuesday, October 5, 2027 — Movie Night at City Park
Bring a blanket or lawn chair, pack your favorite snacks, and meet up at City Park. Enjoy games before the movie, catch up with friends, and find a comfortable spot as the evening settles in. Watching a movie outdoors with your neighbors makes an ordinary Tuesday feel a little different.
Wednesday, October 6, 2027 — Family Fun Night
5:00–8:00 p.m. | Mixter Park & participating businesses
Spend the evening in town with pumpkins to decorate, games to play, and the Exeter Farmers Market to browse. Start at Mixter Park, then visit participating businesses for games along the way. Leave yourself time to stop and say hello—you’ll likely see someone you know.
Pumpkin decorating runs from 5:00–6:00 p.m., with judging beginning at 6:00 p.m. Winners will be announced and prizes awarded at 6:30 p.m. You must be present to win.
Thursday, October 7, 2027 — Sweet & Savory at CACHE
Meet friends at CACHE for an evening of sampling dishes from participating local restaurants and deciding which ones get your vote. Compare favorites around the table, try something you might not usually order, and meet the new Miss Exeter and her court. A little friendly disagreement over the best dish is part of the fun.

Pizza, Puzzles & Pints
Pull up a chair for pizza, a pint, and a puzzle that gives everyone something to talk about. Bring your friends and see who finds the edges, who sorts by color, and who manages to spot the piece everyone else has been looking for.
Scavenger Hunt
For kids of every age and the grown-ups who are still kids at heart! Follow clues around town and see what you notice when you’re looking a little closer. Bring your curiosity and a few good detectives—you may discover something you’ve walked past a hundred times.

Kiwanis Pancake Breakfast
Start with pancakes and a table full of conversation. Meet up with friends and neighbors, enjoy breakfast, and decide where you’re headed next. There’s a full day ahead, but first, pass the syrup.
Fall Festival Parade
Find your spot along the route and get ready to wave. Businesses, schools, clubs, and community groups bring their personalities to the parade, with familiar faces passing by and friends cheering them on. Half the fun is spotting someone you know.
Food, Crafts & Vendor Booths at City Park
Head to City Park with an appetite and time to wander. In 2026, 98 vendor booths gave visitors plenty to eat, browse, and take home. Look through the crafts, find something for lunch, and stop to visit between booths. It’s easy to spend a little longer when there’s another familiar face—or something interesting—just ahead.
Show & Shine Car Show
Show up, shine, and brag a little—or a lot. We know there’s a story behind that car! Bring your ride or wander through the display, visit with owners, and take a closer look at the details. Ask about a restoration and you may find yourself happily caught up in a conversation you hadn’t planned on.
Be Part of Fall Festival
Enter the parade, bring your car to Show & Shine, set up a vendor booth, volunteer, or host an activity. You can also take part by coming to enjoy it all—bring friends, visit the booths, cheer on the parade, and spend some time in town.
